Lazy... I know

Ok, so here I am, lazy lazy lazy... well at keeping this all updated anyways!!!

I seriously have been sooooo busy that I have been lacking in time to sit at a computer and type to you all about my incredible life right now!!!!

So, I'll tell you all about my summer holidays... so far!

I spent half of the first day, Saturday, in Linz, welcoming my host sister, Olivia, back from her exchange in New Zealand, where I then came home in the afternoon to pack for my next week long adventure... which turned into 2 and a half weeks!!!!!!

On Sunday, I jumped on a train to a station called Vöcklabruck, near the Attersee (a HUGE lake in Austria) where I was invited on a week long sailing camp! How cool is that!!!!!

I met the others I was to be with for the next week which included people from places such as, Lichtenstein, Austria, Germany, Romania, Croatia, France, USA and the Netherlands! We were such a multicultural group it was amazing!!
We then proceeded to attempt for our "Grundschein" (Basic Sailing License) and were partially disappointed that the first few days were spent barely moving from the complete lack of wind!!! but then again, we were excited because we were able to enjoy the amazing weather and dive off of our boats and swim!!! Along came the wind, along with our testing for our licenses (which we all passed *pffew!*)
I had such an amazing week, not only in the daytime but also going out with the others at night! Where I proceeded to be invited to Hungary for 10 days on a canoeing trip down the Raab!!! I was very excited... but had only packed for 1 week not 2 and a half!!!!!!!!
In Hungary, a few of the others joined us again but the majority were new people, but luckily for me, my new 'little sister' Patricia from Austria, joined us, it was great fun.

I was a bit disappointed to have my Camera lost to the rushing river of the Raab, and my mobile phone stolen, but I guess it happens!!!!! Thank God for insurance!!!

My memories of Hungary now though, are very limited: Mosquito's, Losing things, and cheap!! I was very excited by the fact that on our last night I bought a large pizza and a drink for 1200 Florins... or the equivalent of 4.70€!! It was great! And in an Italian Resteraunt too!!

At the end of that 10 days I hopped on the train with 2 friends from Australia to head back to Waizenkirchen... and my version of normality... but only for 2 days as I am headed back to Graz tomorrow for a farewell party of an exchange student from the USA... with my brand-spanking new hot pink camera!!!!

Otherwise... I'm up to no good :D

Love from Austria!!!
