Me and the Mountains >>>
Hey All,
Hope that Australia is treating you well, it is Australia day after all! I have been here for 2 days and have already seen so much. Yesterday, my host mother and father took me to a place in the Danube where it almost does a U-Turn! It was amazing.
The flight over was long and full of mishaps (like my luggage being lost) but everything is 100% now! I got my luggage back in 24 hours and am wonderful.
I am struggling a little with the language - but I am learning quickly - and hopefully will be able to speak it well soon.
My family is wonderful, and we get along awesomely. I have 2 younger brothers, Martin and Nicolaus, Andrea and Micheal are my parents and I also have a sister, my age who is currently in NZ on exchange!
Next week I will go to Altmünster for a 2 week language course and will not have access to the internet over that time, so the next post may be a while. But I might have time for another one this week, hopefully.
The food is wonderful, and today it is -1°C and I havn't been outside! But apparently it is upposed to get to -8°C on Thursday, so we will have to wait and see how I cope!
I am going shopping tomorrow in Linz, I am looking for billig clothes (cheap) and it will be fun I hope.
I am enjoying myself immensly and learning and seeing so many new things, it is all a bit overwhelming.
Hope that you are all well!

Hi Maddison. I clicked through to your blog from Mixy's blog. What a fun adventure! (Except for arriving without your luggage). I'm interested to hear about how quickly you will pick up the German language. Kind regards from Pinko.
